Friday Night, it was and we (Meer and Myself) were sitting in my room discussing things. The day was hectic with lots of work and other stuff. Harsha had come by to my room as they (Husband and wife) were travelling to Ooty tomorrow early morning and had to take few things from Meer. We also had plans of going to Chikmangalur for the weekend but it didn’t work out as expected. I didn’t have any backup plans ready so was bit agitated. Meer and I were lying in my room and discussing on various matters. Bharath joined us in a while and informed us about the things happening around in our office. We took a pause for a moment and looked at the watch to see we were discussing from an hour or so. Meer said “let’s go to Shivaji Nagar for tea”. Bharath and myself looked towards him and he understood our reactions. We let the idea soak into ourselves and then decided lets go for it. 12.02 AM was the time when we started from our room.
We reached Shivaji nagar around 12.30 and saw the crowd with lights lit like there was a marriage. The street was crowd and the road was bustling with cars, bikes and people. We stopped near Beef marked to have the special chai. As we were finishing our tea, police arrived. Belive me, there was a traffic jam around 1 AM and police stepped out of his vehicle to clear it. The policemen started closing the shops and ordered people to leave. We thought that they would move within few minutes but we were wrong. They came back and shut most of the shops and roadside stalls. We were standing near the parking area and observing all of this. After a while, we left the place and headed towards Empire Hotel, Church Street. It was crowded with people who were drunk, few of them were high and ecstatic and surprisingly few family people (I mean elderly people). We three ordered Lime soda and were observing the crowd. One gal stood out in whole of the crowd revealing her assets. Uff, she was hot!! There were people eyeing her from the corner of their eye and she was enjoying the attention. We walked down the road for a quick stroll and left the place. We rode around MG Road for a while and headed towards my room. By the time we reached, it was almost 3 AM in the morning.
It was time that one more goat was getting killed :P. This time, it was SHIVARAJ HEDGE‘s turn. There’s was love story with loads of twists and turns. After many roadblocks and hurdles, they were ready to walk down the aisle together. We were happy for him as one love story saw getting the glory (many stories end up in a bad note). We planned for his wedding as we haven’t been to his place (Honnavar). As a ritual, we had him give Bachelor’s party to which he agreed (which was a shocker to us :P). After checking with all of our friends, we booked Arbor Brewing Company (Popularly known as ABC). But we boys never settle on anything at once. We changed the venue to “Three Dots and a Dash“.
The day had arrived and we had gone through the menu before hand and were ready for it. We all reached the place around 8.30 PM and settled down comfortable. It took us good 15-20 mins others to digest the menu and order. As usual, we (Bharath and Myself) experimented with our drinks. We also order one hookah for all of us. There were people (Shivaraj and Harsha) in our group who were trying it for the first time. Once the started taking the smoke in, they got the hang of it and weren’t giving it to anyone else. In the meantime, waiter took ages to get our orders to the table. After multiple enquires and wait, drinks came in. The moment of the night was when our drinks arrived. It was smoking and very unique in appearance. We were hungry as wolf and jumped on the food, on its arrival.
We ordered many items and almost all were of different taste. We wanted something solid to eat such as rice but weren’t as they didn’t have such cuisine. So, we made a runtime plan to have ice cream at CORNER HOUSEand call off the day. We quickly called the waiter and informed to get the bill. We were expecting the bill to be somewhere around 8k but it was much to our surprise when we saw the bill. We left the place and hurried to look for Corner House in the vicinity. It was 11 PM when we all reached the shop and ordered various kinds of ice creams, shakes etc. As the weather was humid, we sat on the road side and had our shares of ice creams/shakes. We wished Shivaraj once again and bid adieu to all.
Our first looks at each other, our first conversation, our first kiss. Our first text message and our first real talk. I’ll never forget. Never forget the feelings and how perfect everything was. We would be awake and chat about everything until the next morning, we could talk in the cellphone for hours without having any words left to say and we could lay down for a very long time. It was love. Real love.
We became closer and closer and when i thought it couldn’t be better you whispered the three most beautiful words in my ear. “I love you” with a cute and innocent smile on your face and said that you never thought you could have this feelings for anyone. It was the best moment of my life. I was in love. Terrible in love. We talked about how our apartment would look like, what names our baby should have etc. Then we laughed for hours about what we just said.
We talked about everything and we laughed, cried and did things together. That was life. You were life. You were the best girlfriend ever and everything would have been meaningless if you weren’t in my life. I would go to the moon, travel round the world and count all the stars. Just for you.
We were so equal you and me, but different at the same time. We had something that other people just could dream of. I’ll never forget how you said I was looking good when I looked the most terrible than ever. And I’ll never forget how special you made me feel every time we met. You hadn’t much friends to talk and I was the only one you fell in love with and I was the only one you ever cared about.
Every time I got a text message from you my heart stopped and every time I saw you call me I got a smile on my lips. You were mine.
But things changed. I can’t count the sleepless nights and how many tears that have fell down on my cheek. I can’t count how many times my heart got in thousand pieces and when everything felt meaningless. I have been so loved by you, but there were times when you have hurt me so badly. I never thought we would come to this part in our relationship were I didn’t show respect to you yet you cared a lot to me and neither can live with or without each other. But now we stand here and don’t know what’s right or wrong. The only thing I know is that “I’LL ALWAYS LOVE YOU, NO MATTER WHAT.“
